Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated or sliced)

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1–2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

  • Optional: a small pinch of black pepper or mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a small pan.

  2. Add the fresh ginger and let it simmer for about 3–4 minutes.

  3. Turn off the heat and strain the tea into a cup.

  4. Add lemon juice and honey, then stir well.
